Scout Payments
Step 1 – Register with Cub Scout Pack 28 on BeAScout (https://beascout.scouting.org/)
Search using the 78751 Zip Code to find our Pack under the name of “Pack 0028 First English Lutheran Church”. Select apply now. You’ll need to create an account if you don’t already have one.
At the end of the application process, you will be asked to make one-time payment to join BSA Nationals.
Step 2- Join or Renew with Pack 28 at a Local Level
Annual Pack 28 dues ($150) may be paid by either check (made payable to Cub Scout Park 28) or through Venmo. If you prefer to pay by Venmo, please reach out to pack28atx@gmail.com for more information.
Your pack dues help to pay for:
- Rank and Adventures Awards
- Campouts and Offsite Activities
- Pinewood Derby – Car Kits and Race Equipment
- Arts and Crafts Expenses
2023 Deadlines
- September 10th: All scouts must be registered with Pack 28 on BSA website by first Pack Meeting (new and returning scouts that have not registered previously)
- Registering with BSA populates scout name into Den Roster allowing them to receive credit towards achievements and rank advancements.
- October 15th: All scouts must pay annual pack dues ($150) prior to second Pack Meeting
- Rank and adventure achievements are awarded as they are earned, annual dues help offset the cost for belt loops, pins, and badges.
